The Gower Ultra 50 challenge is to complete a 50 mile circumnavigation of the stunning Gower peninsula by foot. Gower is Britian's first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and following the route it is easy to see why! You will pass stunning beaches, amazing bays, tiny coves, farmland, fishing villages and amazing views from start to finish. It is open to ultra runners and fast walkers!

“Marvellous weekend, beautiful coast, glorious weather, brilliantly organised…  Highly recommended, see you next year!!”

"It's simply the 'all encompassing ultra' - mud, bog, sand, cliffs, beach, sea, trail, road....and pain!  And the whole RWC crew are simply outstanding- caring, and genuinely interested in every competitor."

SW100 & SW50

The SW100 is a 100mile ultra trail footrace starting and finishing in Cardiff, and crossing the South Wales Valleys and the Brecon Beacons.  It is suitable for experienced and competent ultra-trail runners.  The route has approximately 6400 meters of ascent and is over 90% on trails. WARNING - This is a tough course, with only 25% of participants completing the course in 2016!  It is a UTMB qualifying race and is worth 6 points.

"that race is simply "insane" and must be one of the hardest 100 milers in Europe if not further afield".

The SW50 is the second half of the SW100 route starting from the Pont ar Dawe Car Park at the foot of Pen y Fan then running to Cardiff, it has over 3200 meters of ascent.  It is also a UTMB qualifying race and is worth 4 points.

"I found the 50 mile version harder than a recent 100 mile race I completed a few weeks ago"
