Run Walk Crawl was the vision of two Cardiff based ultra runners Ben Morris and Joe Timmins. Both had been regulars on the ultra-marathon circuit in the UK and decided to bring the ultra-running experience to South Wales with all its breathtaking trails that was on offer and where they also trained over for many years.

Our aim is to provide challenging, exciting, adventurous, and memorable events in beautiful locations. The basic criteria for all our events are "would we like to do it ourselves?" If the answer is yes and then will endeavour to turn it into reality.

South Wales offers miles of tremendous trail running countryside, forestry tracks, mountains, and coastal paths that are ready to be explored. We aim to introduce runners of all ages and abilities to trail running events across South Wales.

The team is made if experienced outdoor professionals including ultra runners, triathletes, former services, physiotherapists, and qualified mountain leaders. Adding to that team we have an amazing network enthusiastic and highly experienced Volunteer Marshals who like nothing more than helping you complete your challenge.

Ben has competed in ultra running races across the UK since 2012 and is a qualified Mountain Leader.  He has an undergraduate degree in Sport and Physical Education and a MSc in Sports, Health and Exercise Science.  His masters thesis investigated the effect of strength training on physiological variables of long distance running.

He has completed numerous ultra events including the Dragon's Back Race 5 times, 3 Lakeland 100 milers, 2 Spine Challenger, the TDS by UTMB and numerous 40 and 50mile mountain ultras.

Ben primarily focuses on route design, event planning, race logistics and safety.

Joe is a keen ultra runner and has completed the Dragon's Back Race twice, the Arc of Attrition, the Lakeland 100 x 2, The Oner, Lakeland 50 x 3, an Iron Man Distance Triathlon, and numerous 40 & 50 mile ultras.

Joe's role in Run Walk Crawl is marketing, braniding, medal & t-shirt design as well as start and finish logistics, race timing and entries.
